InterAct Math   download interactive math

The InterAct Math exercises on this Web site can only be used after you install the free InterAct Math plugin to your browser.

Clicking on the Download InterAct button will take you to the InterAct Download Web site. Follow the installation instructions on this Web site before returning to the InterAct Math tutorial exercises on www.mathbusiness.com. You will only have to install the plugin once to your browser.

Note: If you would like to run the InterAct Math exercises from more than one Internet browser on your computer (Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer, for example), you need to run the InterAct Math plugin installation for each browser, selecting the appropriate browser during installation.

The InterAct Math plugin works on the Windows 95 operating system or higher.

Known compatible Internet browsers include Netscape and Internet Explorer, versions 3.0 or higher.

Entering Math Symbols in InterAct Math is easily done using the InterAct Math Plug-in's built-in Math Tools Palette or special keystroke combinations. Did you know that InterAct Math has a built-in help menu?

To access the InterAct Plugin help menu:

  • After installing the InterAct Plugin, return to the InterAct Math exercise menu on www.mathbusiness.com
  • Click on an exercise to launch the plugin
  • Right-click with your cursor over the InterAct Math interface; select "Help" from the menu

www.mathbusiness.com is best viewed on either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher.

In order to use the InterAct Math tutorials, we recommend that you set your monitor to 800x600 resolution. You can make this change easily from your computer's "control panel."

  • In Windows 95, Click on the "Start" button.
  • Choose "Settings" and "Control Panel."
  • Double click on the "Display" icon.
  • In the Display Properties box, click on the "Settings" tab at the top of the screen.
  • In the Desktop area box, use the slide tool to choose 800x600.
  • In the Font size box, use the drop down menu to select "Small Fonts"
  • In some cases, you might have to restart your machine for these changes to take effect.
