1. What is the current list price of the Packard Bell NEC Ready 220T Notebook? If the NEC Ready 220T Notebook is no longer available, choose another notebook model. Be sure to include the full model description and price.

2. If Packard Bell decides to take a 35% markdown on its products, what is the reduced price of the model you chose for question 1?

3. Would a markdown on the part of Packard Bell be considered a wise business transaction? Give examples of why companies choose to give markdowns. Be sure to consider quantity ordered, markups, and customer satisfaction.

4. Calculate the total amount of the invoice for the 200 computers purchased by DAK. Assume for this problem that Packard Bell charges no tax and pays all shipping. When the invoice dated May 7 arrives at the DAK office, the terms are listed as 3/10, net 30. If the invoice is paid that same month by May 17, what amount will DAK Company issue the check for? Information in Chapter 6 of your textbook will be helpful in solving this problem.
